Charles Su - Worship Ministry Director

I grew up in Cary in a Christian home but, I didn’t place my faith in Jesus until my freshman year of college. I was involved in Cru at NC State and had privilege to lead worship while I was there.
I got connected to Harvest Raleigh during my senior year 2018 and I’ve been here ever since. My first impression of Harvest was that everyone really worships. I love leading God’s people in worship and raising up the next generation of Worship Leaders. It is a privilege to see people responding to the truth of the gospel with praise and worship every week.
Heather Burckart - Connections and Administration Director

I was 16 when I first heard of God’s love for me. It was overwhelming to think that God could love me so unconditionally and had a plan for me. This was a love and relationship I desired; I asked Jesus to be Lord over my life. After high school I attended Meredith College where God put amazing people in my life who discipled me and helped me grow in my relationship with the Lord. It was there that I learned the importance of being a part of a community of believers that would stir me up and point me toward the Lord.
After college I stayed in Raleigh and met my wonderful husband, Erik, who encourages and supports me on a daily basis. We have three girls, Anna, Madelyn and Ava, and a boy, Elijah.
I am excited to be a part of all that God is doing at Harvest and I would love to help you get connected.
Terrell Dillon - Kids Ministry Director

I was saved at the age of 12, however, I made some bad choices in my college years and found myself in a dark place. I remember the moment when I knelt down in my apartment and completely submitted my life to Christ. As it says in John 3:30, “He must increase, but I must decrease”. Shortly after my husband, Lance, and I we were married, my older sister was killed in a tragic accident. He used this moment to show me just how big and capable He is. He is my comforter and my sustainer even all these years later.
Harvest is home for my family. God’s Name is praised, His truth is spoken, His heart is felt and I am pushed to live more boldly for Christ. Through Harvest Kids, I have watched my own children memorize scripture, sing songs to praise God’s name and grow in Christ. It’s a joy to work with Harvest Kids watch them grow!
Matthew Williamson - Student Ministry Director

Growing up in a Christian family, I was always at church. There, at a young age, I learned what it meant to have a relationship with God. By His grace, I was saved at a young age. As I grew, the childlike love for the Lord I had became more casual. While I attended all the church things and the student events, there was a lack of daily spiritual ownership in my life. This was the case for most of middle school and high school. It was not until the summer between high school and college that I not only felt the Lord tugging on my heart as He had been doing for years, but I truly surrendered my life to Christ. I began college at NC State University soon after and immediately joined an on-campus ministry called Cru. Through the small group and community Cru surrounded me with, I began to grow in the knowledge of God and His character and learn what it looked like to walk with God.
Dan Nicely - Men's Ministry Director
I was raised and married in the Lutheran Church. Although, I had a good understanding of the Word and a fundamental belief in God, I was not saved. Subsequently, my life reflected this lack of faith. I like to say that I am not a good guy who found Jesus. I was a bad guy who Christ redeemed. I was saved on the last Sunday of April in 2001 when I heard Romans 10:9 twice. That promise changed my life. My past does not reflect the life of a man who deserves a seat at the table. My current situation and my future reflect the grace, mercy, kindness and love of God.
I am married to my wonderful wife, Nicki, and have eight children.
My love for Harvest revolves around the authenticity of a church impacted by God’s love. This love is reflected in the scriptural and faith-filled action approach the church takes towards serving one another and others. My goal with the Men’s Ministry is to continue this encouragement towards authenticity of identity in and through Christ, while shifting focus from self to others. In short; men with strong servant hearts.
Kate Horton - Women's Ministry Director

I was saved at an early age, but it wasn’t until my freshman year at App State that I really grieved over my sin. It was after that moment that God gave me a desire, like never before, to read His Word and to tell people about Him.
After graduation, the Lord lead me to NYC. A few days later, I witnessed thousands of people perish. The Lord used that experience to remind me that life is short and people need to hear about God’s precious gift to us through Jesus. After NYC, I served with the International Mission Board in West Africa on the media team and doing evangelism. The Lord was kind in growing my faith and also introducing me to my future husband, Tim.
We love the church and are so thankful for this genuine group of people that love Jesus and want to live for Him. I love connecting people, doing Bible Study with other women, throwing parties, and spending time with my family!
