Pastors

I grew-up in Raleigh and heard about Jesus from my parents and camp counselors. I started dating my wife, Vanessa, after we graduated from NC State University. Between my Sophomore and Junior years, I spent a summer in Spain studying abroad and it was there that I first understood God’s calling on me to be a Senior Pastor. We have four kids: Maddie, Luke, Ben and Evie. Vanessa and I have had the joy of serving Jesus overseas in Kenya and Jordan. I received a seminary degree from Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.). During seminary, I was privileged to start and lead a college ministry in Dallas. We moved from Dallas to Chicago for church planter training and then to Raleigh to plant Harvest Raleigh in 2009. I grew up here. I love this City.  I want to see people place their faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord and love Him and others with their lives.

My life does not make any sense without God’s sovereign grace and daily mercy despite my weaknesses. I was born in Hyderabad, India, a beautiful city with delicious food, and grew up with my precious family.

I came to Alabama to study Mechanical Engineering, but the Lord had different plans for my life. It is there God used my friend to bring me to Himself. I lived with a family who modeled a godly Christian home. Simultaneously, my pastor started discipling me and has been a significant influence in my life. He encouraged me to pursue theological education at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, from which I graduated with an M.Div. in 2019.

I am married to Shelly, and we are blessed with two kids, Navi and Zahra.

I am thankful to God to serve an incredible church family at Harvest Raleigh. I serve as an associate pastor to equip and mobilize our church in evangelism, discipleship, and outreach both here and globally.
