This month we had the joy of baptizing 7 people! Each of them shared how Jesus had gotten a hold of them and drastically changed their lives with forgiveness, hope and aim. Baptism is a public profession of inward conversion to Jesus. Baptism illustrates the ending of someone’s old life without Jesus and the beginning of that person’s new life with Jesus. As the saved-by-Jesus person is being immersed in water, baptism illustrates their identification in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
